The results of these investigations are important for employers and employees when selecting the best piece of equipment for their specific conditions.

o       The formulation of policy documents in which the state-of-the-art scientific knowledge is applied to actual issues. An example is the assessment of load capacity and work load of children and adolescents, so that health and safety are guaranteed when they are being employed for light manual work within companies.
